Terms & Conditions for Yarn'n x Ovolo Hotels Instagram Giveaway 

1. **Promoter** 

The promoter of this competition is Yarn'n Co Pty Ltd (ABN: 55 670 304 551 in partnership with Ovolo Group Pty Ltd (ABN: 45 154 831 473). 

2. **Eligibility** 

2.1. This competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. 

2.2. Employees, Directors, and officers of Yarn'n Co Pty Ltd, Ovolo Group Pty Ltd are ineligible to enter. 

2.3. By entering the competition, entrants confirm they meet the eligibility requirements and accept these terms and conditions. 

3. **Competition Period** 

3.1. The competition will commence at 5:00pm AEST on 20/09/20234 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 4/10/2024 (“Competition Period”). 

3.2. Entries submitted after the close of the Competition Period will not be considered. 

4. **How to Enter** 

4.1. To enter, eligible participants must: 

- Follow **@yarnnforacause** and **@ovolohotels** on Instagram. 

- Tag at least one friend in the comments of the official competition post on **@yarnnforacause* Instagram account during the Competition Period. 

4.2. Participants may enter multiple times, provided each entry tags a different friend. 

4.3. Any automated entries, fraudulent entries, or entries submitted by third-party services will be disqualified. 

5. **Prize Details** 

5.1. The winner will receive: 

- A 2-night stay for two people at any Ovolo Hotel in Australia, subject to room availability and Ovolo’s standard booking conditions. 

5.2. The prize is strictly for two people maximum: the winner and one (1) guest of their choice. No additional guests will be accommodated under this prize. 

5.3. The prize is limited to accommodation only. Flights, meals, beverages, transport, parking, activities, room service, minibar, gratuities, and any other expenses incurred during the stay are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

5.4. The prize is not redeemable for cash, exchangeable for other goods or services, or transferable to another person under any circumstances, except at the promoter's discretion. 

5.5. The winner must redeem the prize within 12 months from the date of notification. Failure to redeem the prize within this period will result in the forfeit of the prize without any compensation. 

5.6. Blackout dates, including peak holiday periods, and additional terms and conditions imposed by Ovolo Hotels may apply. 

6. **Winner Selection and Notification** 

6.1. One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period. The draw will take place within 7 business days after the competition closes. 

6.2. The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram within 48 hours of the draw. The winner must respond within 48 hours of the notification. 

6.3. If the winner fails to respond within 48 hours, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner by conducting a redraw from the remaining eligible entries. 

6.4. The promoter reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of the winner, including proof of age and residence, before awarding the prize. 

7. **Acceptance and Use of Prize** 

7.1. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Ovolo Hotels. The promoter is not responsible for any inability of the winner to use the prize, including but not limited to personal circumstances, failure to book within the redemption period, or any external disruptions (e.g., pandemics, travel restrictions). 

7.2. The winner is responsible for making all necessary arrangements, including travel to and from the Ovolo Hotel, and for covering any additional costs incurred. 

7.3. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. 

8. **Disqualification** 

8.1. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process, violating these terms and conditions, or engaging in any conduct that is fraudulent, deceptive, or inappropriate. 

9. **Publicity and Privacy** 

9.1. By entering the competition, participants agree that the promoter may use their name, Instagram handle, profile picture, and entry for promotional purposes related to this competition without compensation or additional permissions, except where prohibited by law. 

9.2. Any personal information collected during this competition will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy. Entrants' details will not be shared with third parties except for the purpose of administering the competition. 

10. **Limitation of Liability** 

10.1. The promoter and Ovolo Hotels make no representations or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, or merchantability of any aspect of the prize, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied. 

10.2. The promoter and Ovolo Hotels are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the prize, including but not limited to personal injury, loss, damage, or expense. 

10.3. The promoter accepts no responsibility for: 

- Lost, misdirected, or delayed entries. 

- Any technical difficulties or failures impacting the entry process. 

- Cancellation or postponement of the prize due to events outside of their control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions). 

10.4. By entering, participants release the promoter, Ovolo Hotels, and their respective employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any liability or claims arising in connection with participation in this competition or acceptance of the prize. 

11. **General** 

11.1. The promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise that make the competition unfeasible. 

11.2. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from this competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. 

11.3. The promoter’s decisions regarding any aspect of the competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
